What to Bring for Your Lakewood Party Bus

Packing smart can make the difference between a good trip and a great one. Here are our essentials for any party bus ride from Lakewood:

Layers — foothills weather is variable
Sunscreen and hat for summer events
Warm layers for winter, especially for mountain trips
Comfortable shoes for Belmar district walking

Seasonal Tips for Lakewood Party Buses

Spring (March–May): Colorado springs are wild — it can be 70°F and sunny at pickup and snowing by the time you head home. Always bring a jacket and layers you can shed. Sunscreen is smart even on cloudy days at altitude.

Summer (June–August): Hot days and afternoon thunderstorms are the norm. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a water bottle. If your itinerary includes outdoor stops (Red Rocks, rooftop bars), a light rain layer is worth stashing in your bag.

Fall (September–November): Excellent weather in Colorado. Crisp evenings call for a light jacket or flannel. September can still hit the 80s, but October nights dip fast. Dress in layers you can adjust on the bus.

Winter (December–February): Bring a warm coat, gloves, and boots if you'll be stepping outside at any stop. Our buses are climate-controlled, but the walk from the bus to the venue is where winter bites. Hand warmers are a nice touch for late-night returns.

Lakewood Route Realities

Before reserving from Lakewood, review practical route constraints that can affect timing and vehicle choice:

  • Peak-hour traffic into Denver can add extra buffer to first pickup windows.
  • Some venue zones limit long dwell times or large-vehicle curb access.
  • Narrow neighborhood streets may require alternate pickup points for larger buses.
  • If your route includes mountain legs, ask about weather and delay contingencies.
  • Confirm parking/loading assumptions in your quote details before deposit.

Lakewood Planning Notes by Route Type

  • Longer routes should include explicit turnaround and contingency timing.
  • For mountain-adjacent routes, confirm weather and delay policy assumptions.
  • Verify final drop-off sequence so late-night return timing is realistic for all riders.

What to Expect When You Book from Lakewood

Booking a party bus from Lakewood should start with route details and policy confirmation. Here are the planning points to review before reserving:

Quote Review Checklist

Request quote details and confirm the vehicle, driver time, minimum hours, overtime terms, taxes/fees, and trip policies. Ask what assumptions were used for route time, parking, tolls, and wait time so final pricing is clear before booking.

Professional Chauffeurs

Our chauffeurs are trained in defensive driving and route logistics. They know common pickup and drop-off patterns from Lakewood, venue access points, and construction detours. Share your itinerary early so timing and stop sequencing can be confirmed in advance.

Unlimited Stops

Within your reserved time, you can make as many stops as you like. Bar crawl through LoDo? Hit three breweries? Stop for photos at Red Rocks and then head to a restaurant? It's your itinerary — we just drive it. No per-stop fees, no restrictions beyond your reserved hours.

4-Hour Minimum

Most rentals require a 4-hour minimum on Friday and Saturday evenings. Some non-prime dates (typically Sundays or weekday afternoons) may allow a 3-hour minimum. Certain prom and formal Saturdays in March through May can require a 6-hour minimum. We'll confirm the minimum for your specific date when you request a quote.

Operator & Policy Confirmation

Before reserving, confirm the operating provider, vehicle details, cancellation terms, and day-of support process. If your route includes mountain driving, stadium traffic, or timed venue windows, ask how delays and weather contingencies are handled.

Simple Booking Process

Call or text 303-536-7879 for a quote details, or fill out the form on this page. Once you confirm, a 50% deposit reserves your date and vehicle. The remaining balance is due 7–14 days before the event. For last-minute bookings within 7 days, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Party Bus Policies for Lakewood Trips

We keep the rules simple so your group can focus on having a great time. Here's what you need to know before you board:

BYOB — Bring Your Own Beverages

You're welcome to bring your own alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages aboard for groups where all passengers are 21 or older. We recommend sealed containers, plastic cups (no glass for safety), and coolers with fresh ice. We do not provide, sell, or serve alcohol. If minors are present and alcohol is involved, a parent or legal guardian must be on the bus at all times.

Decorations

Balloons, streamers, banners, posters, and signs are welcome. Avoid anything that could damage the vehicle interior or leave residue — no glitter, confetti, silly string, tape on leather surfaces, or adhesive decorations. If you're unsure whether your decorations are okay, just ask us in advance.

No Smoking

Smoking of any kind (cigarettes, vapes, cigars) is not permitted inside the vehicle. Our chauffeurs are happy to make stops for smoke breaks — unlimited stops are included within your reserved time. This keeps the air clean and the interior fresh for everyone.

Food

To keep our interiors in pristine condition, we generally ask that food stays off the vehicles. Our drivers can make as many restaurant stops as your itinerary needs — grab a bite between destinations and hop back on the bus.

Cleanup & Damages

We ask that you treat the vehicle with respect. Normal use is expected and basic cleanup (trash, cups) is part of the deal. Excessive mess, stains, burns, or damage to the interior may result in a cleaning or repair fee as outlined in the rental agreement. Keep it fun, keep it clean.

Pets

Pets are generally welcome with prior approval. Let us know when booking so we can pair you with the right vehicle and crew. Service animals are always welcome aboard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Red Rocks is only about 15 minutes from central Lakewood via Highway 93 or I-70 to the Morrison exit. We recommend leaving 45-60 minutes before doors open to grab a good spot, especially for sold-out shows.
The Belmar district is one of our most common Lakewood pickup spots. We'll coordinate with your hotel for loading zone access and can stage the bus in the Belmar parking area while your party finishes getting ready.
Casa Bonita is an incredible party bus stop — especially since the South Park creators renovated it. We can build a route that starts at Casa Bonita for dinner and cliff divers, then heads to downtown Denver or RiNo for the rest of the night.
Lakewood is the great launching point for I-70 mountain trips. We do ski day shuttles to Loveland and A-Basin, summer brewery tours in Idaho Springs, and Georgetown Loop Railroad excursions. Most groups book 8-10 hour packages for mountain day trips.
For company picnics at Bear Creek Lake Park, our 20-30 passenger buses work great. We drop your group at the shelter area and return for pickup at the end. Many companies add a post-picnic stop in downtown Lakewood or a brewery on the way back.

Common Concerns — Answered Honestly

Booking a party bus is a big decision. Here are the questions most people ask before they book — with straight answers.

💰

Is a party bus worth the cost?

When you add up rideshares for a group ($15-30/person each way), parking ($20-40+/car), and the cost of a designated driver (lost fun), a party bus often costs less per person — and your group stays together. The quoted price covers the chauffeur, fuel, sound system, lighting, and coolers. Use our cost calculator to see for yourself.

Are the drivers safe and professional?
